About MW Putters

I'm Mitch Warner, the founder and craftsman behind MW Putters.

Based in Colorado, I started MW Putters with a simple goal: to build putters that combine beauty, performance, and creative craftsmanship. MW Putters is proudly veteran owned, and every putter I build reflects my passion for creating something that is as rewarding to own as it is to play.

The MW Putters logo is built around the Cassiopeia constellation. I've always loved that it naturally resembles a "W," and by mirroring it, it also creates an "M"—my initials, written among the stars. For centuries, constellations have helped people find their way, and I like to think my logo represents something similar: helping golfers find their way around the greens with confidence, one putt at a time.

Handcrafted

Every MW putter is handcrafted by me from start to finish. I don't believe in mass production or taking shortcuts. Each putter begins as a block of metal and is carefully machined, shaped, and finished by hand to ensure it meets the standards I'd expect from a putter in my own bag.

I spend countless hours refining every detail—from the milling patterns and topline to the feel at impact. I cast and finish the brass mountain backings, ensuring every putter carries its own unique character. I believe it's these thoughtful details that separate a good putter from one you'll never want to replace.

No two builds are exactly alike. Every putter receives the time and attention it deserves, resulting in a club that's as unique as the golfer who plays it.

Why I Love Building Putters

I've always been drawn to the blend of engineering, creativity, and craftsmanship that goes into making a great putter. There's something incredibly rewarding about taking a raw piece of metal and transforming it into a club that can help someone play better and enjoy the game even more.

To me, a putter is more than just another club in the bag. It's the club golfers rely on when every stroke matters but also the club that can be customized the most to give every bag it's own unique personality. Knowing that something I built by hand will be there for those moments is what motivates me to keep improving my craft.

My goal has never been to build the most putters—it's to build the best putters I can, one at a time. I hope every MW putter reflects that commitment to quality and gives its owner confidence every time they step onto the green.
